Hosting is non-binary,
Filled with joy and failure at once
It happens in the cracks of time
Hosting is endless (2026) is a conversation that expands a performance. The visitor is invited into a deep listening session of conversations that erupt, rise and flatten the relationality of hosting and politics of hosting through different voices.
body_hacker conjures an abstract text creating an intimate conversational piece with Aziza Harmel and Ida Bencke, as performers and curators of Hosting Lands, reenacting excerpts from previous interviews and conversations by engaging and interacting with the audience live. The conversations unfold a poetic fictitious and speculative universe where poisonous plants host our despair, rage, shadows and ghosts we bear as our social world as we know it, communal structures and environment collapses. Audience members are invited to participate actively through conversation, speech-choirs, and meditative exercises.
